“Harsha was very excited about the prospects of a new design she has created for women and has named it the “HAREM KURTI”, which she is going to launch soon. The product is a fusion of Harem pants and a Kurthi. It is a single piece of garment which is a casual wear and ideal for the women on the move. The design is Indo-western and is made out of comfort cotton material, without lining, front open with a full-length zip and pockets. A glance at the promotional materials and video revealed that HAREM Kurti is a stylish, trendy and elegant piece of clothing which will be a great comfort wear for women of all ages.”

We live in a world where success is bought and traded for money. Success has become a commodity which can be traded and an emotion which can be manipulated. The life and success of women like Harsha Sahad thus gains significance today as her success is measurable and relatable to the masses of women and men alike.

Harsha is a living example of a women who broke the glass ceiling given the circumstances in which she was born and brought up.

Today Harsha has her own brand of garments for women and her brand of designer Kurthi’s being the most in demand. Harsha Bridal creations clothe around 150 brides a year. There are thousands of women who are regular consumers of Harsha Couture. Most of her seasonal collections are sold out in jiffy. Harsha has designed costumes for around nine feature films which also include Tamil movies apart from movies in Malayalam and she is also a personal designer for many celebrities from the world of entertainment and business.

 The never say die spirit of Harsha and her phenomenal success both professionally and personally makes her a role model for many young women who live in a world where arm chair activists and liberators hog the limelight. Such true to life success need to be highlighted and appreciated so that we project the right role models for our youth to follow.
