A startup serving education and sustainability together By Palak Jain & Jatin Batra!!

Date:

India scored lowest among 180 countries, in the data-driven summary of the state of sustainability around the world. We need solutions in every domain that help us get to more sustainable ways of living.

We have two startup enthusiasts Palak Jain and Jatin Batra, alumni of Punjab Engineering College working on a startup with a vision to create a one-stop solution for students pursuing higher education. These young entrepreneurs felt deeply sad after witnessing what was happening at the ground level. Students were getting the photocopies of the books done just to save some extra bucks. But younger generations don’t understand the number of resources that are wasted in this process. Thus, these founders decided to work on the issue and create a platform where students can rent out physical books based on the number of days. Students can rent the engineering books for 15 Days, 30 Days, or for a semester. You can also find free pdfs on their mobile application.

They not only save paper by encouraging students to rent but also plant a tree on their 20th Order, saving not just one but 2 trees together. Over the process, they interacted with over 5000+ students and understood that placements and the right guidance are the next big concern in their lives.

Thus, Padhakku pivoted from book rentals to a one-stop solution.

They have started providing job assistance where they help students understand the recruiter’s mindset, and provide Resume Templates, Consultation, and Mock Interviews. They have HR Interview Questions, GD questions, and other technical interview questions for more than 150+ companies ranging from Amazon, Meta, Razorpay, Mckinsey, etc. They encourage students to not only focus on dream companies but a dream profile like Software Engineering, Data Analyst, Solution Architect, etc. to excel in their careers

This Private Limited firm is a DPIIT registered startup recognized by the Central Government which accounts more for its credibility. Padhakku has also been recognized by Punjab Government and raised an undisclosed amount of pre-seed. Padhakku currently has 6+ Engineering Colleges on their platform with over 2000+ Users. They have their website (www.padhakku.com) and mobile application live on Play Store (bit.ly/Padhakku)

Indeed, having many hurdles in their journey, they are rock solid in their passion for creating an impact for a Better India and Better Future!!
