IMD Issues Heatwave Alerts and Rain Predictions Across Multiple States

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued weather advisories for several states, warning of heatwave conditions and rainfall predictions for the coming days.

Heatwave conditions are defined as temperatures reaching 40 degrees Celsius or higher for plains and 30 degrees Celsius or higher for hilly regions.

Delhi and neighboring regions may witness cloudy skies and cool winds on April 17, with the possibility of light rain, thunderstorms, and gusty winds on April 19.
