The mother-daughter duo was warmly received at Nice Airport, and videos of their arrival have taken social media by storm.
In the clips shared by fan pages, Aishwarya is seen dressed elegantly in a long blue coat over a white top and black wide-legged trousers. Aaradhya, keeping it chic yet cozy, wore a black coat with blue jeans. Aishwarya, ever gracious, was seen cheerfully chatting with a man who greeted her at the airport and even gifted Aaradhya a present.

Aishwarya made her grand Cannes debut in 2002 when her film Devdas premiered at the festival. She stunned in a regal gold saree by Neeta Lulla, accompanied by co-star Shah Rukh Khan and director Sanjay Leela Bhansali, arriving like royalty in a chariot—a moment etched in cinematic history.

The 78th Cannes Film Festival is witnessing a significant Indian presence. Acclaimed filmmaker Payal Kapadia is serving on the main competition jury. Veteran actresses Sharmila Tagore and Simi Garewal attended the premiere of the restored version of Satyajit Ray’s 1970 classic Aranyer Din Ratri (Days and Nights in the Forest).
Additionally, filmmaker Karan Johar and director Neeraj Ghaywan are at the festival to present their film Homebound, while young stars Janhvi Kapoor and Ishaan Khatter are also set to walk the red carpet.
