Manish Sisodia to Meet Arvind Kejriwal a Day After Big Announcement on CM Post

Senior Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Manish Sisodia is set to meet Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Monday, following Kejriwal’s major announcement about resigning from the chief minister’s post until the public certifies their honesty.

On Sunday, Kejriwal, who is also the AAP national convener, declared that he would only assume the role of chief minister again, with Sisodia as his deputy, if people affirm their integrity. He stated, “We will only hold these positions when people declare us honest.”

A party official shared that Kejriwal and Sisodia will have a crucial meeting to discuss future plans, including selecting a new chief minister. The meeting is scheduled to take place at Kejriwal’s official residence in the Civil Lines area.

This follows Kejriwal’s release on bail last Friday in the excise policy graft case. He has also announced plans to hold a meeting with AAP MLAs soon, during which a party colleague will be chosen to take over the chief minister’s position.
