RAKHI KAPOOR

Rakhi Kapoor is the recipient of a series of awards for her recent book titled, ‘Now You Breathe’. She has received the ‘International Golden Book Award, 2023’ in the category Powerful Relationship Guide ; the ‘Writefluencers Award, 2023; the ‘Non-Fiction Author of the year, 2023 in the Ukiyoto Literary Awards and the ‘Author of the Year 2022’ at the National Achievers Award.

Rakhi commenced her writing journey recently in 2017 and has published 25 books in a short span of just 5 years. Her books cover various categories such as, pregnancy and child birth, relationships, mental health, personal transformation, business, poetry, contemporary fiction and children’s fantasy tales. Her book ‘Expecting Daddy Delivers’ is the first of its kind written for men and this book has also been translated in Hindi titled ‘Behtar Pati Behatareen Pita’.

Rakhi authored her first book, “The Girl Who Was Left Behind” in 2017, a story that was transcribed from her personal experience having failed to complete her first trek in Nepal. Four of her books topped the best seller chart in their respective categories on Amazon India.

A Bengali by birth, she is a renowned physiotherapist, prenatal counselor, established business woman, speaker and globe-trotter.

Rakhi is an avid trekker and she loves to explore nature. She has completed various iconic treks in various parts of the world such as Mt Fuji in Joan, The Everest base camp and Annapurna Circuit in Nepal and Mount Kilimanjaro in Africa.

Rakhi believes that challenges and difficult circumstances are opportunities in disguise to grow in life.

R K MOHAPATRA
