BGS College of Engineering and Technology (BGSCET), a new Engineering College with 5 market-demanding / employable / emerging (CS, IS, AI&ML, AI&DS, Design) UG courses in Engineering and Technology, established by BGSKH Education Trust(R.), A unit of Sri Adichunchanagiri Shikshana Trust(SAST) under the ambit of Sri Adichunchanagiri Mahasamsthana Math, a well-known philanthropic organization in Karnataka at CA Site no. 6 & 7, 3rd Main, Pipeline Road, 2nd Phase, 2nd Stage, Mahalakshmipuram, West of Chord Road, Bengaluru -560 086, Karnataka, a prime location having potential aspiring candidates from surrounding areas with good connectivity.  The institute has a clear vision and objective, in the quest for being an outstanding centre for learning and development of human resource, which is conducive to the fast changing national and international situations adhering to consistent policy of recruiting highly qualified teachers.

SAST was established in the year 1974 with the blessings of his holiness Bhairavaikya Paramapoojya Jagadguru Padmabhushan Sri Sri Sri Dr. Balagangadharanatha Maha Swamiji. The Trust was started with a sole purpose of promoting education, research and service to humanity at large, having laudable motive of providing Primary and Higher Education to the rural mass to uplift the social, cultural, ethical and moral standards of the people inculcating in them the human values and spirituality. In its journey of commitments to the nation for more than 5 decades, SAST runs 515 value based and quality oriented educational institutions catering 150000+ students across the country imparting education from Primary to Professional Courses with a special focus on young people of semi-urban and rural areas. The major Institutions run by the Trust are in the field of Medicine, Engineering, Pharmacy, Ayurvedic, General Degree, Management, Professional Colleges, Pre-university education and Educational Centre for destitute, Physically Handicapped (blind) and Mentally Retarded people. Most of them are situated in the rural parts of Karnataka, Salem and Erode districts of Tamil Nadu and New Delhi to provide abundant opportunities to the rural masses of our country.
