Ravi Raj (born Ravi Raj Shree Krishna Choubey on 8 May 1992 in Bajarahiyan, Siwan, Bihar) is a celebrated Indian devotional singer, spiritual orator, and life coach. Known for his soulful rendition of “Mangal Bhawan Amangal Hari,” he has become one of the most influential voices in devotional music, with over 10 billion cumulative views across digital platforms. Through his songs and spiritual guidance, Ravi Raj continues to inspire millions to embrace devotion, positivity, and personal growth.

Growing up in a spiritually rich environment, Ravi Raj was immersed in devotional practices from a young age. The chanting of Ramayan choupais and traditional bhajans deeply influenced his musical sensibilities. Encouraged by his family, he developed a strong foundation in singing and spiritual philosophy, shaping the path that would define his career.

In 2015, Ravi Raj moved to Mumbai to explore professional opportunities in music. He began as a voice-over artist, recording over twenty episodes for the Discovery Channel, and later performed as a choir singer in Bollywood films including Raees starring Shah Rukh Khan and Airlift starring Akshay Kumar. These experiences honed his skills and provided exposure to India’s entertainment industry.

In 2017, Ravi Raj relocated to New Delhi to fully dedicate himself to devotional music. Collaborating with major labels like Wave Music, Sonotek, T-Series, Bhakti Dhaam, Chanda Cassettes, and Lokdhun Spiritual, he gained nationwide recognition.

His rendition of “Mangal Bhawan Amangal Hari” became a spiritual phenomenon, resonating deeply with audiences. Over the years, he has sung over 2,000 bhajans, composed 100 original tracks, and written more than 500 devotional compositions. His music combines classical depth with contemporary arrangements, making it accessible to both young and mature listeners.

Philosophy and Spiritual Mission

Ravi Raj’s guiding principle is:

For him, music is not just performance; it is a spiritual practice. He integrates devotion with personal development, conducting sessions on confidence, mindfulness, and life skills, alongside his musical performances. His goal is to inspire people to live meaningful, value-driven lives rooted in faith and compassion.

Since 2017, Ravi Raj has been the Devotional Head at Lokdhun Telemedia Pvt. Ltd. (Wave Music). In this role, he oversees the production and curation of devotional content, mentor’s new artists, and helps modernize devotional music while preserving its spiritual essence. His leadership has expanded the reach of bhakti sangeet both nationally and internationally.

Ravi Raj actively supports social causes, working with NGOs to promote girls’ education and raise awareness about social issues. Known affectionately as “Rabba” by fans, he emphasizes that devotion is best expressed through service and compassion, using his influence to make a positive impact in society.

The youngest of three brothers and two sisters, Ravi Raj often credits his mother as the guiding force in his life. He balances his professional commitments with family life and draws inspiration from his roots. Outside of music, he enjoys reading, exploring Indian traditions, and mentoring young minds on personal development and spirituality.
