UP Board Topper Prachi Nigam Stands Strong Against Trolls, Focuses on Achievements

Prachi Nigam, the Class 10 UP Board examinations topper with an impressive 98.5 per cent marks, has emerged as a symbol of resilience in the face of online trolling regarding her appearance.

Despite facing criticism for her facial hair, Prachi remains undeterred, emphasizing that her academic achievements are what truly matter. “When I saw that people were trolling me, it didn’t bother me much. My marks matter, not my facial hair,” she stated, reflecting a mature perspective on the situation.

Expressing gratitude to those who supported her amidst the trolling, Prachi acknowledged both the negative and positive reactions to her success. “Those who feel weird because of my facial hair can continue trolling, it doesn’t make a difference,” she remarked, echoing a sense of self-assurance and focus.

In a poignant comparison, Prachi mentioned the historical figure Chanakya, who was also subjected to criticism for his appearance but remained unaffected by such remarks. This analogy underscores Prachi’s resilience and determination to stay focused on her goals despite external distractions.

The incident sparked a wave of support from the online community, with many condemning the trolls and expressing concern for Prachi’s well-being. Congress General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra also reached out to Prachi, encouraging her to stay focused on her studies and aspirations while congratulating her on her remarkable academic success.
