UN Addl. Representative Dr.Dinesh Sabnis Successfully Instigates Peace & Diplomacy topics in Young Generation Worldwide

Peace & Diplomacy are two topics that today’s young generation should be aware about specially due to extreme sensitive geopolitics what we have been experiencing for the past few years wherein international relations at bilateral & multilateral level has been drastically changing the equations.

Dr.Dinesh Sabnis who himself has contributed for 14years in Government of India as a Ex. Officer and have been recently been appointed as a Addl.Representative in United Nations Geneva Office for World Fund for Development & Planning, has taken great initiative to develop understanding about United Nations, International Relations & Peace in the minds of young generation & students in various countries.

Dr.Sabnis has been aligning many events online and offline wherein students from India and abroad countries are able to connect on various platforms on topics such as Human Rights, Peace, Literacy, Non Violence and UN Relations. He has been constantly taking special efforts in reaching various permanent missions in United Nations so that special mentor topics are able to be aligned for the students to understand from the mouth of career diplomats. Dr.Sabnis have also initiated collaborations and have associated with various colleges and universities in Switzerland and abroad so that students are able to receive right career guidance on topics related to UN, International Relations & Diplomacy so that more and more students are able opt it as a career.

Dr.Sabnis has always strongly believed in quote from Nelson Mandela “Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world.” He mentions that In today’s world right education and values are what need to be inculcated in the minds of young generation which could bring positive uprising of development and peace in this global world.

To contribute positively, Dr.Sabnis has always looked forward to Education Diplomacy as a future important tool of peaceful and successful world, as it aims to utilize diplomatic skills and cooperate it with both public sectors & private sectors, educators & educational institutions, individuals & organizations, with an special agenda of promoting education all over the Globe as a basic human right, accessible to all.

According to Dr.Sabnis Education Diplomacy projects which he has been initiating for past few years would have not been successful without active support from IGO WFDP & INGOs such as UN Peacekeepers Veteran Association- AISP SPIA & Lazarus Union who hold Special & General Consultative status respectively in UN ECOSOC.

Dr.Sabnis was recently honored with special medals of Mission Cross & UN NGO Honor by Lazarus Union while Peace Commemorative Medal by UN Peacekeepers Veteran Association-AISP SPIA for his successful services in projects related to Education Diplomacy & International Relations.
