Chennai Faces Second Day of Heavy Rain, Several Areas Affected by Waterlogging

Chennai continues to experience heavy rainfall for the second consecutive day, leading to widespread waterlogging in many areas of the city. The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a red alert for parts of Tamil Nadu, warning of “very heavy rainfall” on October 17 and 18, further intensifying the situation.

Delhi Deluged: Waterlogging and Traffic Jams Amid Rain, More Showers Expected

Delhi faced significant disruptions on Friday as heavy rainfall led to extensive waterlogging and severe traffic jams across the city. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecasted more showers, with the city remaining under a yellow alert for adverse weather conditions.

Delhi has been battered by heavy rains early today, resulting in widespread waterlogging and significant disruptions to daily life and commute. The intense downpour led to flooding across several major locations, including Patel Chowk, Chatta Rail Chowk, Nigam Bodh Ghat, Minto Bridge, IP Marg, Mundka, Mangi Bridge, Ch. Fateh Singh Marg, Railway Under Bridge, Ram Bagh Road, and Azad Market.

Delhi experienced severe weather conditions on Tuesday evening, leading to significant flooding and widespread disruptions across the city. The India Meteorological Office reported that clouds had converged over Delhi from all directions, resulting in intense rainfall that led to extensive waterlogging and traffic jams.

Mumbai Hit by Heavy Rain: Vistara Flight Rerouted, Police Issue Advisory

Heavy rain and thunderstorms have significantly impacted Mumbai over the weekend, causing widespread waterlogging and traffic congestion. The city faced severe weather conditions on both Saturday and Sunday, prompting the Mumbai Police to issue an advisory urging citizens to avoid coastal areas and limit their movements.
