Parts of North India are set to enter 2025 under the grip of cold wave conditions, with rain and snow expected to continue across several states, according to the India Meteorological Department (IMD). The weather agency has forecast a cold wave to severe cold wave conditions in parts of Himachal Pradesh, Jammu & Kashmir, Punjab, Haryana, and Rajasthan from December 30 to January 2.

Delhi Sees Light Rain and Temperature Rise, AQI Remains Satisfactory

Delhi experienced a slight increase in temperature on Saturday while continuing to receive light rain in various parts of the city. According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), the maximum temperature for the day was recorded at 35.5°C, marginally higher than the previous day's 35.2°C. The minimum temperature was logged at 27.2°C, up from Friday's 25.3°C.

The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a forecast predicting rain showers in Delhi and intense snowfall in parts of Himachal Pradesh next week.
