One user shared a video of rain, exclaiming, “Finally, it’s raining across South Bangalore!” This sentiment was echoed by many others who rejoiced at the long-awaited rainfall.

The city had experienced some light rainfall in its northern parts the previous day, signaling the end of the prolonged dry spell. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) provided further optimism by forecasting rainfall across several districts in Karnataka from April 21 to 24. While April 25 and 26 are expected to be dry, the IMD issued a heavy rainfall warning for specific districts on Saturday, including Udupi, Dakshina Kannada, Kalaburagi, and others.

Additionally, the IMD noted a rise in maximum temperatures by two to three degrees Celsius across the state from April 21, highlighting the dynamic weather changes expected in the coming days. This shift in weather patterns brings hope to residents and farmers alike, as they anticipate a reprieve from the scorching heat and a rejuvenation of the region’s greenery.
