"Union Minister Faces Case for Controversial Remarks on Kerala Blasts"

Union Minister Rajeev Chandrasekhar is facing legal action after making controversial remarks in the wake of the recent serial blasts in Kerala. Official sources have confirmed that a case has been registered against the minister, accusing him of promoting social hatred through his statements.

Chandrasekhar’s comments came shortly after the serial blasts occurred during a prayer meeting in Kerala. He criticized Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan, alleging a politics of appeasement in the state. Chandrasekhar expressed his views on the situation on social media, where he condemned the government’s actions and policies.

In response to Chandrasekhar’s remarks, Chief Minister Vijayan stated that such comments reflected a larger communal agenda. He urged the minister to show respect for the investigating agencies working on the incident and emphasized that it was early in the investigation.

As the verbal confrontation continued, Chandrasekhar asserted that Kerala had displayed “increased tolerance towards radical elements” during Chief Minister Vijayan’s rule. The situation remains politically charged as the investigation into the Kerala blasts unfolds.

On Sunday, a series of blasts at a convention center in Kerala led to the tragic deaths of two women and a 12-year-old girl, with numerous injuries reported. The suspect, a 48-year-old man from the same Christian denomination Jehovah’s Witnesses that organized the prayer meeting, later claimed responsibility for the blasts and surrendered to authorities.
