Shots Fired in Noida's Gardens Galleria Mall Parking Lot; Three Arrested

A disturbing incident unfolded at the Gardens Galleria mall on Sunday night when gunfire erupted in the parking area following a brawl between two groups. The altercation, which began inside a pub within the mall, escalated and spilled out into the parking lot, resulting in one individual firing shots.

According to Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police, Manish Mishra, three suspects were apprehended shortly after the incident. The police recovered the weapon used in the shooting, and a First Information Report (FIR) has been lodged at the Sector 39 police station. “Further investigation is underway,” Mishra confirmed.

The arrested individuals have been identified as Amit Pratap Singh, 30, and Ankit Singh, 25, both residing in Aryan Tower, Sector 73, Noida; Shubham, 30, from Sector 79, Noida; and Peeyush Sharma, 26, from Gandhi Nagar, Delhi. All four men are employed at private companies in the Delhi-NCR region.

This incident is not isolated, as Gardens Galleria has witnessed several similar occurrences in the past. In June, four individuals were arrested after a violent confrontation over a cigarette, which was captured on video and shared widely on social media. The footage showed multiple people engaging in a brawl while security personnel attempted to intervene, with a woman also seen trying to de-escalate the situation.

Adding to the mall’s troubled reputation, a month prior, two constables from the Ghaziabad police faced arrest after one misfired a weapon in the same parking lot. This incident occurred around 2:15 AM, when a security guard alerted authorities to a gunshot. Upon arrival, police discovered that the shot was fired from a vehicle, where two constables, Dheeraj Yadav and Mukul Yadav, were found seated inside.
