Navjeet Kahlon is a name that's definitely quite common to all of us; for the kind of music he has been delivering.

Music redefines artists in various ways. And with the advent of independent music, artists are coming up with original numbers and that is garnering more and more response. Indie rock culture has been trending for quite a long time now and Navjeet has wowed the Punjabi youth with his back to back hit numbers. It's his genuine attempt to revive Punjabi language through music. The best way to keep a language alive is through music and artists like Navjeet are doing this to the best of their ability.

Let’s have a look at who is Navjeet’s Inspiration:

Since childhood Navjeet was inspired by the ace legend Dilshad Akhtar a lot. His music made him want to create a mark in the world of music. As a child, he used to hum Dilshad’s ji songs all day long and this love eventually turned into a roaring passion of becoming a singer. He then learnt music here in Punjab. Later on he moved to Australia, settled there but singing had always been his first career choice and giving life to his passion, Navjeet launched his first album “Born 2 Rise”. Navjeet has raised the bar for the Punjabi music industry with his melodious voice and his songs have always been a treat to hear.

Although selecting your own best performance can be a task for any artis but when asked  Navjeet's personal favourite song is Wapari, written by Mangal Hatur and music by Beat Minister. The video of the same has been done by R Swami.

He loves the intensity of the lyrics and of course the layers of music added to it. Independent artists like Navjeet are creating a wave in the music industry and the audience has always been supportive of new music. Be it Munda Sohna or or Lollipop,his songs never cease to surprise his fans for the kind of flavour he brings to every song.

Navjeet’s new song zindagi is all set to release and this one marks his debut in the world of Hindi music.

The song Zindagi is all about a guy who wants to express his feelings to a girl. How he feels for her and why he wants her to become a part of his life.

Romantic is one of his favourite genres and we believe this song is a perfect justice to the romantic genre. This song is much awaited and fans have been waiting for this one since it’s his first Hindi song.

His fans have always wanted him to try a hindi song. Preet penned down the lyrics and Navjeet instantly loved the song. Navjeet has always loved the folk and romantic genre. The song Zindagi, again is one of his favourite genres.We are all pumped up to watch this one!!
