Since childhood Navjeet was inspired by the ace legend Dilshad Akhtar a lot. His music made him want to create a mark in the world of music. As a child, he used to hum Dilshad’s ji songs all day long and this love eventually turned into a roaring passion of becoming a singer. He then learnt music here in Punjab. Later on he moved to Australia, settled there but singing had always been his first career choice and giving life to his passion, Navjeet launched his first album “Born 2 Rise”. Navjeet has raised the bar for the Punjabi music industry with his melodious voice and his songs have always been a treat to hear.

Although selecting your own best performance can be a task for any artis but when asked Navjeet's personal favourite song is Wapari, written by Mangal Hatur and music by Beat Minister. The video of the same has been done by R Swami.He loves the intensity of the lyrics and of course the layers of music added to it.
