Firing Outside Nightclub in Delhi's Seemapuri: Bouncers Forced to Kneel, Attack Caught on CCTV

A terrifying shooting incident took place outside a nightclub in Delhi’s Seemapuri on Thursday night, where four armed men opened fire and forced bouncers, including a woman, to kneel at gunpoint. The chilling event unfolded at around 11:45 PM at the Kaanch club located in Seemapuri’s Jhilmil Industrial Area.

The entire episode was captured on CCTV, showing the miscreants arriving at the club, fully armed. Three of them stormed inside, while one stood outside, threatening the bouncers and forcing them to sit on their knees. Among the bouncers were Umar, Amil, and a female bouncer who was reportedly held at gunpoint. Witnesses stated that the attackers placed a gun to her head during the ordeal.

According to India Today, the assailants fired more than a dozen rounds indiscriminately into the air before fleeing the scene. Eyewitnesses reported that the attackers appeared to be enraged, and their aggressive behavior suggested a premeditated assault.

Initial investigations indicate the motive behind the attack could be linked to the club’s refusal to pay extortion money, according to reports. However, different narratives have emerged, with Navbharat Times and The Times of India suggesting the attackers were previously denied free entry into the club, prompting the late-night attack.

Two of the attackers have been identified as Tanish alias Pehelwan and Shahrukh. The Delhi Police have registered a case under the Arms Act, and a manhunt is currently underway to apprehend the suspects.

No injuries were reported, but the incident has left the club staff and witnesses shaken. Local authorities are reviewing the CCTV footage as part of their investigation. Further updates are awaited as the police intensify their search for the culprits.
