Orry Faces Legal Trouble for Allegedly Consuming Alcohol Near Vaishno Devi, FIR Registere

Social media personality Orhan Awatramani, popularly known as Orry, has been booked along with seven others for allegedly consuming alcohol at a hotel in Katra, Jammu & Kashmir. The town is a revered religious site, serving as the base camp for the Mata Vaishno Devi pilgrimage.

FIR Filed Against Orry and Others

According to news agency IANS, an FIR was registered against Orry and his companions for violating local laws that prohibit alcohol consumption in the religious town. The complaint led to an investigation by the Jammu & Kashmir police, with authorities taking strict action against the accused.

A police statement read:
“Taking cognizance of the complaint regarding an issue involving certain guests who were staying at a hotel in Katra and were found consuming alcohol, FIR No. 72/25 was lodged. On March 15, guests including Orhan Awatramani (Orry), Darshan Singh, Parth Raina, Ritick Singh, Rashi Dutta, Rakshita Bhogal, Shagun Kohli, and Anastasila Arzamaskina were found consuming alcohol within the hotel premises, despite being informed that alcohol and non-vegetarian food are strictly prohibited at the pilgrimage site.”

Police Take Strict Action

Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Reasi, Paramvir Singh (JKPS), instructed authorities to track down the offenders, emphasizing a zero-tolerance policy for actions that could hurt religious sentiments. The police team, under the supervision of SP Katra, DySP Katra, and SHO Katra, was deployed to take swift action.

The SSP further stated that anyone violating the sanctity of religious sites by consuming alcohol or engaging in similar acts would be dealt with strictly. “There is no place for those who don’t follow the law and try to disrupt peace by resorting to drugs or alcohol, especially in religious areas,” the statement read.

Orry is a well-known social media influencer and is often seen attending high-profile parties and events. He is closely associated with Bollywood star kids, including Khushi Kapoor, Janhvi Kapoor, and Nysa Devgn. Recently, he appeared on the popular talk show Koffee With Karan 8, gaining further attention in celebrity circles.
